Bobby Lee Wood passed away on June 29, 2009 surrounded by the love of his life Marlene Wood, his son Dean Wood and wife Anita, his sister's Dale Powers and Mickey Wood, Chuck Hildebrandt and his sister-in-law Jeannette Carr. 
 
Bobby was born December 12, 1943, in Langdale, AL.  He was the first son of James Lee Wood and Doris Blanche (Wadkins) Wood.  He spent his childhood in Alabama and Georgia until the family moved to Miami, Florida in 1958.  He graduated from Miami Edison High School in 1962.  He met the love of his life when he was 16 and she was 12.  They were married 7 years later on March 19, 1966.   They had one son, Dean Lee Wood born . . .
