Carl has taught me a lot as young elder with Tidewater Christian Church (TCC) and he was faithful source of wisdom and guidance as we established TCC on 26 July 1996. It's been an honor to have known Carl. My family extend our deepest condolences.

Chaplain Cooper ministered to my mother-in-law, Gladys Williams at Patrick Henry in N. News many years ago. He encouraged her to play the piano there to her heart's content. He also officiated at her funeral service. He was a blessing to us all. Gladys' son and my husband, Charles, died in 2015 of Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson's. He was a singer (Italian Mayor at Busch Gardens at the time he knew Chaplain Cooper.) He so longed to go to his heavenly home and I know he has welcomed Chaplain Cooper. What a wonderful man and what a wonderful legacy he has left with his family. My prayers are with you all as you grieve this great loss.

Dear family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear loved one and send you my sincere condolences. May you find comfort from the promises in God's word at Revelation 21:3,4 about no more sickness or death and at Acts 24:15 where His Son says "there is going to be a resurrection...". Heartfelt prayers are with you and your family.

Carl had a significant impact on my life! Through his counseling and many sermons, I learned the essence of true Christian faith. Carl was a wonderful example to me, but mostly a dear friend I will miss and look forward to seeing again.

We had a lot of fun years ago playing jokes on each other. I still remember some of them with great fondness. With prayers for you Mark, Dena, and all of your family.

Mark, I'm so very sorry to learn of your father's passing. I have fond memories of the Christian Church in Bainbridge with your father as pastor. He was genuine, kind, and strong in his faith. He leaves behind a fine son who is a wonderful reflection of his character. God bless you...

Mr. Cooper was one of the most amazing men in my life. He was the best preacher ever. How he put up with the shenanigans of all the church youths of all ages, was nothing short of phenomenal. Yes, we played jokes on him. He was a good sport about it. We adored him. The First Christian Church of Bainbridge, Ga. played a huge part is raising all of the children. The church was a huge part of my life then and was one of the happiest times of my life. Mr. C, you will be sorely missed here on this earth. Heaven is celebrating your Homecoming and I will see you there one day. P.S. He had a lead foot....

We'll miss you Grandaddy Carl. I know you're dancing in heaven with Jesus now - I'm jealous! Praying for you, Dena. Thanks for all you've done and all you do. Love you!
