Biography:

Born to the late,Homer C. and Bessie Merle Amos McConnell, in Texas City, TX. on 12 Feb 1951.He received his angel wings, on 02 Nov 2017, passing in the loving arms of his wife, Kathy H Neuburg, in San Antonio,TX.

Besides his wife, he is survived by son Stacy McConnell, of Panama City, FL, stepdaughters, Jodi Lee Weber Laatz (Peter Laatz),Huntersville, NC, & Skye Brianna Weber Polchert, San Antonio,TX, five granddaughters, Jordie Miller, Eugene,OR, Taryn Sage, San Antonio,TX., Ashtyn Polchert, San Antonio,TX, Sophie Laatz, Huntersville,NC, and Delaney Burns of TX. He is also survived by brother David Adair of Colorado and sister Patti Birdwell Gage (Virgil Gage) of Texas City,TX. Sisters-in-law, Darlene Neuburg Jakubowski of WI, and Dottie Neuburg Greget of Startzville, TX, former son-in-law, Peter Polchert, also of TX. He is further survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends, too numerous to mention.

In addition to Chips parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Donna Adair, and brother Robert (Carolyn) Adair,and his parents-in-law, Aloys P and Katherine Westphal Neuburg.

Chip was a Disabled Viet Nam Veteran. Proud to have served his country, in the US Army. He and his wife, loved riding their Harley Davidson motorcycle on many cross country adventures, with dear friends, until his health declined,to the point he had to give up the motorcycle. His other great passion in life, was fishing at the coast. He fished until just a few months ago.

This is a man, that will be impossible to forget, with his deep, Texas drawl, and wide grin. We all shall remember his own little sayings, and twists on words. He would move mountains for those that he loved. Loved he was, very deeply!!!!

We shall miss you so much, until we meet again!!!!
