Howard Roseman peacefully passed away on October 24, 2017 surrounded by his family. Howard is survived and will be sorely missed by his wife of 37 years, Audrey Roseman and his two daughters, Robin Kaplan (Jeff Israel) and Jamie Mills (Jim Nichols).
Howard had a loving extended family which included his 4 step daughters, Vickie Vince (Joe), Ellen Nagel ( Bruce), Audrey Sardo and Nancy Smith (Darren). He was surrounded in love by his grandchildren, Christopher, Samantha, Sydney, Denise, Danny, Amanda, Jennifer, Salvatore, Joseph and Amy. He was blessed wtih 4 great grandchildren who enriched his life, Ashley, Daize, Olivia and Giuliana. His loving family extended to his three nephews, Fred, Mathew and Eric and numerous cousins and close friends.
Howard graduated from the University of Wisconsin and remained a proud badger throughout his life. He subsequently graduated from Brooklyn Law School. Howard had a 52 year career as an attorney in Long Island, New York, practicing into his late 80's.
Howard had an infectious smile and a twinkle in his eye that brought happiness to so many. He was a ferocious reader and a strong activist for liberal causes speaking out against discrimination, racism, antisemitism and all social injustices. He left a legacy to his family that we have an obligation to be active in making the world a better place for all people.
Howard was proud of his service in the United States Navy serving in combat during World War II. A memorial and interment will take place on November 28, 2017 at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida , 33449
