After his school years and returning to El Salvador, he followed his passion for cars and became a champion race car driver.
One very important milestone was having his first child in 1968, Clelia Maria. Jose entered into many endeavors throughout his young adult adult life from turning Entrepreneur and starting his own business to becoming an Executive at an insurance agency.
During his time at the insurance agency he met the love of his life, Dora Maria, his "Gorda". They married May 28th, 1976. From that love they had 2 girls, Maria Jose and Dora Maria.
Jose and his wife made the decision to move their family from El Salvador to the United States and settled into Virginia, where they had one more daughter, Claudia Maria, to complete their family.
Jose again followed his passion for cars where he became a top selling salesman and moved his way to sales manager working mostly for the the Brown's Automotive Group. He retired after 30 years.
Jose Maria lived his life with passion and generosity to others. He was a great role model to many and managed to touch the lives of those around him. Above all, he cherished his family and life long friends the most.
He lived his life by this great quote:
"Si tu mal NO TIENE remedio, de que te preocupas? Si tu mal TIENE remedio, de que te preocupas?"
Translation-If your problem DOES NOT have a solution, why do you worry? If your problem DOES have a solution, why do you worry?
