Liam is an amazing, happy little boy! He is our greatest joy, and it is our prayer that he is young enough to forget all the tribulations he must endure.
PROLOGUE
When Liam was born he referred on his hearing test. (So they couldn't say whether he could hear or not, just that he didn't pass the test.) Lots of appointments later, and a "sedated ABR", the doctor said that he had fluid on his ear and a minor impairment that she felt comfortable attributing to said fluid. We knew Liam could hear because he babbled, mimiced sounds, and turned when we called his name.
