My dad was my hero he was my admiral he was my rock. I could go to him for anything he was always there. He always had a shoulder for you to lean on and always had an ear to listen. He would never tell you what to do he always tried to guide you but was always there to catch you when you fall.
He loved animals, sailing, cooking but I think he loved gardening the most.
I remember when he had his small engine shop he would always tell us you never pay attention to what your doing you observe what you are doing.
I learned a lot from my dad he was full of wisdom and knowledge.
When we were kids we would put on a show on Friday or Saturday night so we could go to Dairy Queen and get an ice cream.
One thing that comes to mind is he always owned more than one of anything. If he bought a new tool or some other thing he would say don’t tell your mother and I would always say well dad you already have one of those why do you need 2 I never really got an answer just a grin.
Dad you will always be loved and forever missed.
