Beatrice (or B.J. as her friends and family called her) was born in Nogales, AZ. she was a direct descendant of one of the Arizona Pioneer Families. The family moved to Burbank, CA when B.J. was 2 years old. It was there that she met the man she would spend the rest of her life with, Everett, who was introduced to her by his sister, Carolyn at the age of 11. Everett took B.J. to a Girl Scout dance and the rest is history. On February 13th, 1960 she and Everett married and then had 2 children, Charles and Charlene. In 1964 the family moved to San Clemente where they raised their children. Everett and B.J. owned their own electrical wholesale company and B.J. helped with the bookkeeping. The family enjoyed many vacations of camping, waterskiing, snow skiing and trips to Mexico. B.J. made her home a place where everyone wanted to gather, family, friends, and their children's friends were all drawn to the warm hospitality that B.J. was gifted with.
In 1992, with their children well on their own, Everett and B.J. decided to move to Silverlakes to make what was their 2nd home a full-time residence. B.J. quickly became well known and well loved just as she was in San Clemente. She was a member of the Silverlakes Ladies Golf Club for 13 years and held every office, including Presidency, during her 13-year membership. She enjoyed helping out with many events and charities to give back to the community that she came to love and flourish in.
