I'm sad that I never got to personally meet this man. I heard his joking nature in the background of many conversations with his daughter, Diana. I heard stories from Dylan about spending time with his Paw paw, and I always wanted to meet him. I know he was a great man who loved everyone and gave everybody the benefit of the doubt. I'll remember him for the way he could tell a tale that left you wiping tears of laughter off your cheeks. I'll pray for pace for his family and justice for his legacy... and I'm sending my love, respect, and comforting vibes to the family. <3

I love you dad. I miss you, the person who was always there for me. The only man in my life that never let me down, was you. Now that you are gone, I know you will be looking down from heaven and watching over us. I miss your smile, I miss your laugh, your jokes, your strength, your courage, and your will to always do what was best. Most of all though, I miss your love. I won't say rest in heaven, cause I know what your doing. Your singing, praising and having a blast. Xxxx

Carl, you truly will be missed by so many people. Even though it's been many years since I was hanging out with you and Ceritha and Buddy, I will never forget those days and what fun we all had. I know you are singing Elvis songs with the angels now. We will see you again some day!

There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss you loving and caring smile, or those warm words of compassion that you gave to me and the children and grandchild. I will always hold you in my heart, and knowing that one day we will be together again. Until then, RIP my love and soulmate.
