Christine Marie Mack, loving sister, cousin, aunt and friend passed away peacefully on December 16, 2017 at age 65 after a long struggle with cancer. Christine was surrounded by family at her brother Jeff’s home.
She was an inspiration to us all during her entire life, especially during her fight with cancer. She never let her optimistic, cheerful and graceful personality waver despite her struggles with declining health.
She was raised in both the San Fernando Valley and Honolulu, Hawaii. She visited many states with her family and traveled to Tahiti as a teenager. Christine was a graduate of St. Genevieve High School in Panorama City and maintained close ties with her classmates.
While pursuing her career as a travel agent, she lived in numerous states and cities from the Golden Gate Bridge in California to the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. Christine worked in Arizona, Hawaii, North Dakota, Monterey, CA, Rochester, NY and Universal City, CA. During her many years at Universal Studios, she handled travel for countless films, television shows and theatrical productions.
She loved to travel the world and enjoyed taking cruises, especially trips to Alaska, Mexico and the Panama Canal. Some of her traveling highlights were riding an elephant in Thailand, traveling to Hong Kong, Japan, Europe and most of the Continental United States. She loved her dogs and always had special place in her heart for them. Her latest pet was Buster who gave her great comfort during her ending days.
Christine was the daughter of Howard and Patricia Mack. She is survived by her brothers, Tim and Jeff Mack, sister-in-law Pattee Mack, nephew Brian Mack, and niece Kelly Mack Carr.
Christine was a loving person who touched more lives than can be named here. She will be missed, but her memory and kind acts will last forever.
