Cleon A. Carder, 70, joined Heaven's choir on October 30, 2017.
He was born in Dodge City, Kansas on April 17, 1947, to Roy and Lolita (Hertel) Carder. Cleon helped his parents on the Carder farm while growing up. He graduated from Jetmore High School where he was active in football, track, and FFA. He enjoyed going to the lake, watching football, and sharing a good meal with family and friends. He had a deep love of music and could sing the roof off of any church. Many can attest to his love of a well thought out prank, resulting in much laughter. He was a resident of Dodge City, Kansas until 1989 when he moved to Phoenix, Arizona. Cleon was an Arizona resident at the time of his passing. Both of his daughters were at his side when he went to be with his Lord and Savior.
Cleon is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lolita Carder. He is survived by his two daughters, Tami Carder and Tonja Osborne, two brothers, Royce (Janis) Carder and Varlyn (June) Carder, four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Per Cleon's request, there will not be "any big hoopla" but rather a celebration of life dinner with his family.
