W.R. "Tony" Dukes, afficionado of guitars, bows, guns and God, and one of the last real Texas bluesmen, left us with incredible memories on Monday, January 7, 2013, at the age of 60.Tony was born April 15, 1952 to the late Faye and Nelson Dukes in Brady, Texas. His life and involvement in the local, national and International blues and rock music scenes from 1970-2000 is defining. He was an avid outdoorsman, bowhunter and marksman. His proudest years and times were spent in humble service and ministry to others as a North Texas Patriot Guard Rider, LPC and chaplain.Tony is survived by his brother Jackie Dukes and wife Stephanie, his daughter Kristen Cline, his Spiritual father Deacon Joe Milligan and many friends and 'brothers'.

Tony's Celebration of Life Service will be held January 27, 2013 at 1:30pm within The Harbor Club Fort Worth 3000 West 5th Street 76107. In lieu of flowers, Tony made a special reqest for any memorials be made to the North Texas Patriot Guard Riders (http://www.txpgr.org/).
