Mark and Eric,
I was saddened to read of your mother's passing. My parents and I rented from your parents for about six years in the 1960s. I remember all of you, including your grandmother. Please take comfort in knowing your mother is now reunited with your father and her mother.

To Marc,Stephanie and Eric:

Helga was a sweet kind woman who always had a smile on her face. She always made me feel welcome and her memory will live on in our hearts, children and grandchildren.

When we were kids and were selling something for school you could always count on going to Mrs. Sheltra's door. She would invite you into the house, give you a snack, and always order something from you. She always had great hospitality. To this day I can never say no to a child selling something at the door! I' m sure she never realized the example she was showing me. Rest in peace Mrs. Sheltra!

Am sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I know she will be missed dearly by you, your daughter, your brother and his family. My heart goes out to you.
Though I did not know your mother, I know that she welcomed my brother, John, into your home, way back when he was a young boy and your friend. (l appreciate you sharing photos of your childhood birthday party so many years ago!)
I wish you and your family comfort in the memories of your mother's life...

My heart is warm after reading the beautiful eulogies for Mrs. Helga Sheltra. I never met Mrs. Sheltra but it is certainly obvious that she has always been an Angel on Earth...and now an Angel in Heaven. Marc, I will continue to pray for you and your family. ~?~

To Marc, Stephanie and Family,
I'm so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. After reading her biography she not only was a wonderful person but was deeply loved. She left a positive impact on everyone that was lucky enough to cross her path. Take comfort in knowing that she is now with our Heavently Father and that we will all see her again when it is our time to be with The Lord.

To Eric, Marc and your families, I was so deeply saddened to hear of your Mom's passing. My memories of your Mom go far back to when I was a teenager, and she completely welcomed me into her home treating me as an honored guest. The warmth that I felt in your home emanated from the relationship your parents had with each other and with you their sons, who it was clear to see we're dearly loved... Being there felt like being in my own home, and I will forever treasure the memories of the love they showed to me. Flash forward many years, and I was able to enjoy talks on the phone with her from her new home in Florida. (Thanks Eric for passing the phone to her!). I truly loved her and will cherish her memories. Loosing her will be hard, but know this, she loved her boys completely, and cherished her time with you. Hold that close to your heart where she will continue to live on. You you are all in my thoughts and prayers... Love, Jo-Anne
