Sr. Airman Jacob Allen "Jake" Butler -WARNER ROBINS - Jake Butler, 23, entered into rest on October 8, 2008 in Great Yarmouth, United Kingdom as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Jake was born on September 13, 1985 in Warner Robins. He was a graduate of Northside High School, where he proudly dressed as linebacker #54 on the Eagles football team. He enlisted in the U. S. Air Force in 2005 and attained the rank of Senior Airman. At the time of his death, he was stationed at Royal Air Force Lakenheath in Suffolk, England where he worked as an Electronic Warfare Specialist and maintained involvement in a local football team while remaining an avid NHS Eagles fan. Jake was of the Baptist Faith. He brought joy and optimism to everyone and will be remembered as passionate and loyal. -His memory will forever be treasured by his sons, Jacob Noah and Tristan Allen Butler, Ludowici; father, James "J.R." Butler (Donna), Warner Robins; mother, Sally Dixon (Dan), Alpharetta; sister, Savannah Irene Dixon, Alpharetta; brothers, Adam Butler (Kristine), Butler and Zachary James Butler, Warner Robins; step-siblings, Ryan Dixon, Alpharetta and Shannon Givens, Monroe; grandmothers, Sue "MeeMaw" Jester, Jonesboro and Dorothy "Granny" Butler, Jonesboro; step-siblings, Brandon Allen Parton and Amanda Lynn Parton, Warner Robins; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. -Visitation will be Wednesday, October 15, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M., at McCullough Funeral Home. -Funeral, services will be held at 2 P.M., on Thursday, October 16, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Dennis Clark officiating.
