Dorothy Jean Stanley Ingraham, 43, affectionately known as “Jeannie”, went home to our Lord on Sunday, September 22nd, 2013 in San Antonio, TX.  Jeannie was born on October 24th, 1969 in Manassas, Virginia to Emma and Henry Stanley, Sr.

Jeannie is survived by her beloved husband of almost 19 years, Richard Allen Ingraham; 3 children: Richard Nelson Ingraham, Robert Daniel Ingraham, and Levi Aaron Ingraham all of San Antonio, Texas;  her parents, Emma and Henry Stanley, Sr. of Manassas Park, Virginia;  two sisters; five brothers; loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and long-time friends.

Jeannie grew up in Manassas Park, Virginia and graduated from Manassas Park High School.  Before marriage and moving to Texas with her husband, Jeannie worked in the ER at Prince William Hospital in Manassas, Virginia.

A recent tradition for Jeannie and her family has been to host military service personnel at their home on Thanksgiving.  This Thanksgiving, Richard and sons will be visiting Jeannie's family in Virginia where there will be a memorial service for her Virginia family and friends.

A memorial service will held on Thursday, October 3rd, 2013 at 1:00pm at Community Bible Church at 2477 N Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX 78232.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up in the name of Dorothy Jean Ingraham through Security Service Federal Credit Union, Attn: Lendon Maynard, P.O. Box 691530, San Antonio, Texas 78269-1530.  Checks may be made out to Dorothy Jean Ingraham and in the memo field please put memorial fund.

Jeannie was a faithful servant of the Lord with a heart of gold.  She was a beloved daughter, a reverent wife, a passionate mother, a loyal friend, and a spiritual prayer warrior.  We take comfort in knowing that today she is in Our Father’s hands in Paradise.  She has  “fought the good fight and run the good race”.  We celebrate in the knowledge that Jeannie has now heard the Lord tell her, “Well done, my good and faithful servant”, and we look forward to the day when we shall be together with Jeannie again.

One of Jeannie's Favorite Bible Verses:

Jermiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

To have a child, is to have your heart walk among the earth.

There is no love like a mothers love.
