Judi's spirit, laughter and love was infectious. Those who were lucky enough to know her felt this. She shared a love story with her husband, Randy, that few get to know in a lifetime. She was passionate about her sons, Tyler and Tanner, she loved them more than life itself. She dedicated her life to her family. Her home was always open to all. She loved people and was always happy to talk, laugh and share her spirit with others. She also was never one to hold back her opinion. You always knew where you stood with Judi and why. The light she poured into a room was immeasurable. She wasn't just a mother to her two boys however, she was a mother figure to all the kids she came across. She created so many happy memories through her lifetime with her family and friends, that we will all be able to look back and cherish as we grow older. She was wise beyond her years and shared her insight on how to live a good life with everyone she met. She was strong, fun, bold, caring, funny and one of the most pure-hearted individuals anyone would have the privilege of knowing.
Judi was famous for ...
Brutal honesty. If you needed to know something then you sure will here it from her.
Her incredible skill at accents
Her ability to turn anyone's frown upside down.
Her mischievous nature. Judi was no stranger to messing with people.
She never met a stranger. Judi had a love and openness for everyone, even if she just met them just moments ago.
She held a variety of jobs in her lifetime the ones most important to her were volunteering, community service, theater mom, soccer mom and many other positions surrounding her boys. She never missed a soccer game or a performance and those were the things that lit her up. Anything involving them warmed her heart and brought her spirit to the foreground.
For those who wish to honor her: Hug your loved ones fiercely, laugh as much as possible, pass kindness on to strangers, make friends wherever you can, and live your own lives sharing your spirit with others. Judi would have wanted it that way.
Judi would prefer her legacy be honored by friends making memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 In lieu of flowers.
