Karen "Lue" Short of North Manchester, formerly of Noblesville and West Lafayette, Indiana,  passed away on March 6, 2014 after a long illness with pulmonary fibrosis. She died in her bed, at home with her parrot by her side, listening to Ricky Martin sing "Living La Vida Loca." She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, George and Ruby Short . . .
