Please share your thoughts and memories of Karl here
I was so glad I could see him and Vivi during the summer, fall and winter of 2013.  Karl was happy and healthy then.  We had a lot of fun together.  Bowling, going to museums, taking the hop-on/hop-off bus around New York and eating in diners and off-the-wall restaurants.

Rest Family: I greatly enjoyed reading about Karl's interesting life. Sometimes those who struggle the hardest seem to be the greatest among us. And as stated, life in this world as we now know it can be cruel and hard. Yet, even so, millions find peace and solace in the promises for a better future for mankind as outlined in the Holy Bible. There we can come to know that the Most High over all the earth, whose name is Jehovah, has promised a time of peace and happiness for our planet Earth (Psalm 83:18, Revelation 21: 3,4; 2 Peter 3: 13,14).

May your family find comfort in prayer and the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:2-4)

I met Karl at Kim and Ken's commitment ceremony. My impression of him was of an intelligent and interesting man who was eager to meet all of the Stackpoles, (Kim's family.) I was asked to take him to the airport bus when he was returning to New York but when I arrived at the hotel, he had already walked to the station. At first,I was concerned, but understood that he was a young man who was used to a big city and "small-town" Carpinteria was no challenge.

Please email me or send a message on facebook to me if you plan on attending the service on the 19th. We are trying to estimate number of guests to expect. Please read the comments in reference to location and do not ask for Karl's service. Thank you everyone for your support and how much happiness you brought to Karl's life!
