I only knew Marcia about a month. She was my 95 year old mothers room mate in Essex Park. Marcia was such a delight. She watched over my mother, and my mother so enjoyed her. My daughter an I really enjoyed Marcia. Was so shock that she passed at such a young age.So happy to have met her.

Auntie D Marcia
Proud to share my moniker with you for so long. Will miss you dearly!! Your contagious head-tilt-back hearty laugh, your great listening skills, your spot on book reviews and being a fellow foodie like me are just a few things I will miss about you.
Your uplifting energy was always a pleasure to be around. You will always bring fond memories into my life. You are loved and you will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing you. I consider myself blessed to be one of those people.
Ps-Try to to yell at God. :^)

I don't have the words to tell you how much I will miss your hearty laugh, your caring phone calls and your unending strength to push on and participate in everything, even though sometimes in pain. I always admired the special motherly instinct you had to bring up your fine son Joe. Perhaps, most of all, I will miss the love, compassion and loyalty you always had for your family. I love you and miss you. Cecelia

As a baby we all knew that Marcia was Marcia. She did things her way or no way at all. She was the life of our family. If you wanted laughter, Marcia would be the one to provide it. My sincere regret is that later in life she suffered so much. Still, until the end, she was a great mother, a great daughter and a joy to all. If anything can comfort us, it is knowing Marcia is now without pain and with her sister Cheryl, so the both of them can look down upon us and guide their family from above.

I’m not going to sit here and write a “I remember the time thing”. Marcia is my wife’s sister meeting Marcia once would be an experience knowing her is a whole different thing. To say she left a lasting impression on my life would be an understatement. The times I spent with the Gallagher Clan I call it that when Marcia was there was great fun a lot of laughs a lot of food and a lot of love. Some will say wow she was so young, but that’s not fair to her on her good days and she had plenty of them she had a feistiness and a spark and genuine love for others that couldn’t be measured.Life shouldn’t be measured or judged by the number of years but by how much life and love you put into them.Marcia you filled them up and you filled or lives too I will never forget you.
