Mary Florence Pearsall (nee Mayes) died Sunday, June 28, 2009 in her Fairview Heights home at age 80. She was born May 9, 1929 and was married to Robert Jerrie Pearsall from April 5, 1947 until his death on December 23, 2002. She is survived by her children Jerrie Stoneking, Jimi Pearsall, and Randye Zanger; four grandchildren Matt, Julie, Joe, and Jamie; and seven great-grandchildren Sadie, Julian, Devin, Joey, George, Sophia, and Elijah.
Mrs. Pearsall was known by many names. Her friends, colleagues, and customers called her Mary. She was addressed, respectfully, as Officer by the temporarily detained.
