Naomi Ruth Brodock, 32, of Frederick, MD, died on Nov. 4th in her home surrounded by her family. Naomi was born on Nov. 13, 1984 in Fort Wayne, IN to Peter and Brenda Reynolds (Frederick, MD). She leaves behind her husband Andy and her children, Edison and Julia, as well a large loving family.
Naomi lived her life to the fullest. Naomi competed at Bible quizzing throughout childhood and high school. She attended Olivet Nazarene University, where she met the love of her life. She worked with troubled teenage girls and coached quizzing, which she continued as a young mom. After her stage 4 cancer diagnosis, Naomi continued volunteering and advocating for better health care options for all.
Naomi is survived by her parents, siblings and their spouses: Maria and Joel Weir (Crawfordsville, Indiana), Leah and Mark Garrett (College Park, MD), Rachel and Joel Christensen (Boonsboro, MD), Simon and Laura Reynolds (Frederick, MD), Abigail and Brandon Murrell (Frederick, MD) and Lydia and Brian Kleiner (Zionsville, PA); her grandmother Clara Reynolds (Fort Wayne, IN), as well as her in-laws: Lorna and Steve Brodock (Horton, MI), Josh and Susie Brodock (Ransom, MI), and Darren and Lynn Brodock (Jackson, MI). She had numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends as close as siblings who will long treasure their years with Naomi.
Naomi is interred at Clustered Spires Cemetery, Frederick, MD.
Memorial services for Naomi will be held in at Grace Community Church, Frederick MD on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017 at 5pm and Jackson First Church of the Nazarene (Jackson, MI) on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017 at 3pm.
