TSEPERIS Nike (nee Ordolis) age 73 of Pequannock died unexpectedly and suddenly Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at Home while receiving the loving care of her family. She was born in Sparta, Greece and immigrated to New York City in the late 1940s where she met and married her loving and devoted husband of 51 years, Nicholas, an internationally famous singer and guitar player. After they were married, Nike and Nicholas moved to Edgewater, New Jersey where they raised their two daughters, Virginia and Danielle. Edgewater also served as a base for the family as Nike, along with their daughters, often joined her husband on his world tours. Although family always came first for Nike, she was also an ambitious entrepreneur who owned and managed Nina Record Company in Manhattan, NY and later founded Nicos Gift & Music Center in Astoria, New York which specialized in Music, Bridal and Baptismal gifts. She retired from work in 1999. Her family is left with many wonderful memories of a very devoted and loving family oriented wife, mother and grandmother. Above everything, her family came first and Mom was the cohesive force that kept family life very special. Nike and Nicholas moved to Pequannock, New Jersey eleven years ago where she devoted most of her time to her family. She was gifted with a personality that effervesced humor, kindness and generosity that caused others to admire her and left her family with many wonderful memories of a very devoted and loving family oriented wife, mother and grandmother. Surving her are her loving husband Nicholas; two daughters Virginia Tseperis and her husband, Henry Mager of New York City, and Danielle Tseperis Kalas and her husband Steve Kalas; one cherished and very special grandson John Kalas of Pequannock.Friends may visit with the family at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 13, 2007 at 10 AM from the funeral home and then to Saint George Greek Orthodox Church, Clifton, for an 11 AM funeral service.
