Father Ambrose and Father John Help Dedicate Special St. George Icon

“We would like to donate this special icon of St. George honoring the remarkable life led by our loving Mother and Grandmother, Nike Tseperis.  We would like to thank the Church for its support to our family over the years.  St. George, is so representative of our mother because the icon symbolizes courage, protection and faith.  Each and everyday, we think of our wonderful mother and remember her zest for life, her sense of humor, and her unconditional love for us.  Thank you for being here with us today.  May our mother’s memory be eternal.”  Virginia and Danielle Tseperis

Nike encouraged her daughters to go to college and obtain their degrees and strongly believes in the value of education.  She inspired her daughters even in the toughest of times and never gave up.  She also turned everyday moments into fun and engaging lessons for her daughters.  Since she was an avid reader herself, it was easy for Nike to stay involved in her daughters lives by providing literature, education and the tools needed to realize their potential and succeed.  Nike also applauded their successes!!
